Project staff are scheduled to attend the April 12th Building Bridges event at the Slavic Baptist Church in Bellingham. Participants have been asked to come prepared to talk a bit about "your family's journey to America", whether it was recent, a few generations ago, or over 4,000 years ago. Participants will also share their hopes and dreams for life in Whatcom County. We will distribute flyers in Russian for our upcoming HEALTH COUNTS COMMUNITY CONVERSATION at Kendall Elementary School on April 23.
