About me

I am the Executive Director of the Mediation Center, a non-profit United Way agency with both formal and informal collaborative relationships with nearly every human service non-profit agency in our town, most of which are also United Way agencies. This is a ready made group of talented and committed individuals that are highly involved in the community and addressing its issues. We also share professional relationships with law enforcement, court staff, judges, attorneys and the greater legal community, the department of social services, and our local and state political representatives. All of these individuals have expressed their willingness to support our work and endeavors to meet our mission who I believe will be ready to make contributions to such a project. I also have personal relationships with program directors and interviewers at the local radio stations who I have already spoken with about this idea and been met with excitement. Finally, the Mediation Center has 8 staff including myself who demonstrate a tremendous amount of commitment to their work and connecting with the community in a real and impacting way. I have garnered their support in this idea so that we together can be mindful of how diversely we relate to and engage our community and the issues it faces.
